Prayer in School Battle Continues in Florida

The fight over the right to pray continues in federal court. Teachers in Florida are asking a Federal Judge to change a court order that prohibits them from praying at adult only school events.

Teachers in the Christian Educators Association are trying to get the judge to change “the Consent Decree”. The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and the School District, which came up with the agreement, are fighting it.

The decision is now in the Judge’s hands to decide if the order will stay the same or if the group will have any input on changes in the Consent Decree.

Since prayer has been taken out of schools many terrorist acts have occurred. Many have died. We need God more than ever before. Prayer is a good thing. Let those who want to pray, pray. Why, even a moment of silence should be observed. When people ask God ‘why did this happen to this school’ God replies, ‘I am not allowed in schools’. C’mon people. Stop this madness. Bring back prayer or at the very least, a moment of silence to the schools. What harm could it possibly bring?
